Application MESIL206 series can be used as base polymers or as blend polymers in order to create the desired hardness. These polymers can be cured with silicon-hydride crosslinkers and a platinum catalyst. Mainly used as the base rubber of addition type liquid silicone rubber, also used as reinforcing agent, hardening agent, and structured control agent of silicone rubber industry. Vinyl owns good reaction activity, MESIL206 series can be used to produce perfusion silicone rubber and silicone-modified acrylic resin emulsion. Can be used as major intermediate of organic silicone materials, also can be used as waterproof agent, softening agent, antisticking agent in fabric, paper and leather industries, and accessory ingredient in cosmetic.

Characteristics

MESIL 206 series are Vinyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane fluid, which available in a variety of viscosities. Vinyl silicone fluid is a base polymer for addition-curing RVT-2k (room temperature vulcanizing two component), LSR (liquid silicone rubber) silicone rubber. The terminal vinyl groups take part in the vulcanization reaction with Crosslinking agents in the presence of Catalysts.
